Foothill Homicide Detectives Are Investigating a Shooting Death

Foothill Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of a male, Hispanic, approximately 15-18 years of age.

On Monday, October 26, 2015, at approximately 0220 hours, Foothill Officers responded to a call of an “Ambulance ADW shooting just occurred” at Van Nuys Boulevard and Norris Avenue.  Upon arrival, the officers observed the Victim, a male, Hispanic, 15-18 years old laying on the south sidewalk of Van Nuys Boulevard approximately 150 feet east of Norris Avenue.  The male was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.  Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and found that the victim had succumbed to his injuries.  The preliminary investigation revealed an unknown suspect(s) fired at the Victim striking him in the head.  The suspect(s) then fled from the scene on foot.
